A lifelong Staten Islander with deep community roots, Christine DeHart has spent her career helping people find their place to call home — and strengthening the neighborhoods she loves along the way.

Christine grew up in a family that owned and operated a construction and property management firm for more than 40 years, where she learned firsthand the value of hard work, integrity, and doing the job right. After college, she joined the family business, managing a 52-unit rent-stabilized building and discovering her passion for problem-solving, property improvement, and helping residents achieve stability and pride in their homes.

As the Owner and Broker of Salmon Real Estate, Staten Island’s oldest independent real estate company, Christine brings decades of experience, professional certification, and genuine care to every client relationship. She is a Certified Property Manager through The New York Real Estate Institute, an E-Pro Internet Professional, and a Senior Real Estate Specialist (SRES), helping clients aged 50+ navigate major transitions with compassion and clarity.

Christine has also completed The City of New York’s Residential Property Management and Working with Tenantscourses, underscoring her expertise in both private ownership and community housing.

Beyond real estate, Christine is deeply dedicated to her community. She currently serves as the President-Elect of the North Shore Rotary Club, having twice served as Past President. She is a Board Member of Community Board 1, Chairperson of the Victory Boulevard Merchants Association, Board Member of the Staten Island Industrial Alliance, and an active member of the Staten Island Home Improvement Contractors Association, the Staten Island Board of Realtors, the New York State Commercial Association of Realtors, and CCIM.

Christine also leads and supports charitable efforts across Staten Island, including chairing an annual fundraiser for the autistic community and serving on multiple committees that raise money for local causes.
